SCS Direct Inc. is seeking a Junior Programmer/Software Developer. This unique opportunity will give the right candidate the opportunity to be a key component in designing and creating meaningful applications for increased productivity and technology.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Programmer to develop these customized web-based applications. As a Junior Programmer with SCS Direct Inc. you will use MS Visual Studio and SQL Server Azure and your own development skills to design applications.
Main Job responsibilities of the Junior Programmer include:
-Developing and debugging new and current software components
-Adding new functionality to the current business application that contains order fulfillment, inventory, and shipping systems
-Performing SQL Server administration
-Development and design tasks as assigned by the Senior Principal Software Engineer
SCS Direct Incs ideal candidate is a .NET Developer with C# experience who is an object-oriented designer and is comfortable using ASP.NET and C# on application development projects.
Additional responsibilities of the Junior Programmer/Software Developer include:
-Storing, retrieving and manipulating data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements
-All phases of software development including but not limited to coding
-Help desk support
-IT support and maintenance including computer/email set-up and troubleshooting
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
-at least 1 year of post-college professional experience
-Experience with C# and SQL Server
-Experience with ASP.NET development
-Strong working knowledge of XML, IIS, .NET framework architecture, and GUI usability
-Experience with RESTful web services
-College degree in related field required
Experience with Microsoft Lightswitch and Amazon/Ebay API a plus
Salary Range: $50,000- $60,000 per year plus benefits
